TikTok Entertainment Centre 2027

About TikTok Entertainment Centre

Opened in December 2016 as ICC Sydney Theatre, the venue filled the gap left when the old Sydney Entertainment Centre in Haymarket closed in 2015. In November 2025 it became the TikTok Entertainment Centre, the platform’s first naming deal for any venue in the world, and locals soon shortened it to “TikTok EntCent”, a nod to the old building’s nickname. With about 9,000 seats on raked tiers, it sits between the theatres and the Olympic Park arena in scale, and hosts concerts, comedy, Super Netball and boxing. For audiences, the big difference from the arena is location: it is a short walk from the CBD, Chinatown and the harbour rather than 15 kilometres west. In 2027 our list has Lizzy McAlpine, Ronan Keating, Delta Goodrem and UB40.

TikTok Entertainment Centre: getting there and back

The theatre is part of the ICC Sydney complex on the western side of Darling Harbour. The L1 Dulwich Hill light rail stops at Exhibition Centre and Convention, both a short walk from the doors. From Town Hall station or Gadigal metro station it is a 10–15 minute walk down to the harbour, and from Central you can follow the elevated Goods Line path through Ultimo in about 15–20 minutes. There is paid parking under the ICC Sydney precinct, but most people use trains and walk. Ferries to Barangaroo are another option, followed by a walk of about 15–20 minutes around the harbour.

Before your TikTok Entertainment Centre concert

Most concerts here are fully seated, which suits singer-songwriters and anniversary tours. The tiers are steep, so mid-level seats near the centre often beat the front side blocks. Darling Square, Haymarket and Chinatown are a few minutes’ walk away for food before the show. When ICC Sydney also has a conference or exhibition on, the precinct is busy, so leave time to find the right entrance.
